Sorry about the delay in updating you all on what we're up to. I kept telling myself, "Just
a few more days and we'll have some tutorials to post, then I'll blog about what we're up
to." As you can see, it has been months and we've only added one new tutorial on
.NET Forms Authentication with Roles. We've also added some new
quick snippets and more code samples,
but those come in at a pretty steady rate.
In other news we're about ready to ship Andvestigate. See the
Android Development Central page for details.

This is rather quick for me to be writing a new entry, but I'll be returning to school
this coming week so I had to get some things done. As a result, I've revamped the Tutorials
page. I've also added a new tutorial on SQL injection attacks
and a new SQL code sample. In the meantime, DLH has provided us
with our first PHP code sample.

Merry Christmas all! And Happy Holidays!
With Christmas comes gifts and so I bring you a new tutorial on creating a web beacon
because nothing says Christmas like spying on your clients. Also, there are a few more Javascript and ASP
code samples for you to look at.
Since we're speaking of gifts, the source for OSM SiteSafe is now up on
Google code. Table editing features are not yet complete. It is also missing any kind of documentation or deployment scripts.
That said, I invite you to look at it, download the code, make changes, suggest changes, track bugs, and either submit any
changes you made either on the Google code site or email them to
support@osmstudios.com.
Andvestigate is still coming along nicely. It's a little too early to
give a release date, but it is fully functional now. There are more features to come.

I thought you all might be interested in knowing that OSM SiteSafe has
entered closed alpha testing and is now being used to speed along the upgrades to the rest of the OSMstudios website.
Now I hate to post a news without announcing any new content, so I'll just point out that I added 5 new samples to our rapidly
expanding Code Samples area. Look for new tutorials by the weekend.
I suppose the most important thing for me to mention is that I am now the proud owner of the T-Mobile G1 phone that runs
Google's mobile operating system, Android. DLH and I will be taking some time throughout December (a great deal of time as I
understand it) to create the first commercially viable Android apps to hit the Android Marketplace. Wish us luck! We'll both
be keeping you all updated on our progress at our Android Development Central page.

Again content has been a little slow in coming. I ended up moving half-way across the country on a whim...
Anyway, most of my time was spent on site fixes. I repaired layout stretching problems and corrected Javascript
errors that were occuring in Internet Explorer. But I do come bearing gifts. See our new tutorial on
registering .NET DLLs to COM for use in plain ASP.

Sorry about the delay in getting new content up. After finals came sickness followed by moving and now here I am in
college. I'm a bazillion miles from home and generally quite busy. That said, OSMstudios is far from dead! In
fact, new tutorials are up! See our tutorial on creating a .NET CAPTCHA generator
or wait a little while to view tutorials on robots.txt, ASP.NET AJAX toolkit, and exposing .NET dlls to COM for use
in plain ASP.
What has really taken my time, though, is creating OSM SiteSafe. This web-based application allows remote managment of
databases and should be entering closed-Alpha Testing soon. This will be our first public project! Expect an open Beta
in January, if not sooner.
Anyway, don't give up on us yet!

Welcome to the new OSMstudios website. If you are unaware, YttriumStudios is completely gone now. It's just us now.
Very little of the content from YttriumStudios was salvagable after the SQL Injection attacks hit our server. In my
defense, that attack ran on someone else's code. I still maintain that it wasn't due to my personal bad programming.
We're working hard to create new content, but bear with us as it is finals week...
